According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases has exceeded half a billion, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
As of last night, 500.19 million infections and 6.19 million deaths had been reported to the UN agency in Geneva. Since the emergence of the new coronavirus at the end of 2019, most conditions have been registered in Europe (209.5 million) and the Americas (151.7 million).
On the other hand, Africa accounted for only about two percent of the global number of cases. However, the WHO suspects many unreported instances on this continent. According to the WHO, up to 97 times more people could have been infected than known.
